Heritage Day is one of the newly created South African public holidays. It is a day in which we are all encouraged to celebrate own cultural traditions. We are blessed to live in such a diverse nation with a wide range of cultures, beliefs, and traditions that make up the nation of South Africa.
We celebrate our African heritage and our WIRUlink culture. That’s why we’re giving away five “I Am South African” tumblers. We want to share with you our WIRUlink office obsession - Coffee!
You are probably wondering why we’re giving away tumblers when spring just recently brought us a heat we will never forget. The reason is that here at WIRUlink, no matter how hot the weather it will never change the close relationship we have with our coffee mugs. We take our coffee seriously, with the outcome being voted the best Broadband Service Provider in South Africa, during a 2016 survey. To celebrate our achievement, we decided to share this incredibly normal obsession with the people out there who feel they can relate, and what better day to share part of a company’s culture than on Heritage Day?
The “I Am South African” range was created by South African Designer Andy Cartwright to remind us of the icons that have shaped our country and made us who we are today. The intricate design contains 44 iconic symbols and 15 tribal patterns. Now that’s what you call art!
